Egypt being centrally located has always been a focal point of world wide media attention. To meet the expectations of the press and media people, the CICC press centre has separate entrance and is designed to offer exemplary working conditions for press, radio and TV coverage. Its main press hall has the capacity for 150 seats in theater/classroom style and has the facilities for simultaneous translation in four language in addition to Closed Circuit Television linked to every auditorium in the centre. Furthermore, there is a Cafeteria on the same level where journalists can relax, sit to exchange news and views. There are three multipurpose rooms each of 177 sq.m. adjacent to the Press Centre flexible in their design to meet the demands of each individual organizer either to be used as meeting hall, editors' room or exhibition. Any number of telephone and fax lines - local and international as well as ISDN - or computers can be installed within the Press Centre with UPS systems in operation. Dark rooms are available for the avid photographers. Also in front of the Centre there is a fully equipped Business Centre providing all secretarial works in addition to a post offie.
